Race Summary:
The #30 Playboy/TASERNetwork.com/Mazda RX-8 qualified in an impressive 4th place. The car was running strong in 2nd place when it was clipped by a DP in turn 11, which required an unscheduled pit stop to repair a damaged left rear tire. As a result the Playboy TASERNetwork.com Mazda RX-8 finished in 11th place.

Race Summary:
The #53 Playboy TASER Network Verve BMW M6 qualified 16th for the Emco Gear Classic at Mid-Ohio. Tommy Constantine advanced the car to as high as 9th place during the rain soaked race, until he spun late in his stint. This cost the team several positions. However, as the rain stopped and the track became dry Mike Borkowski regained several positions. The #53 BMW M6 finished 14th thanks to a strong run by Mike Borkowski. |

Race Summary:
The #53 Playboy Verve BMW M6 GT qualified 11th for the Porsche 250 at Barber Motorsports Park. Mike Borkowski advanced the car to as high as 4th place during the first few laps of the race, showing great promise for this new chassis and engine package. However, due to the team having very limited time to upgrade the chassis, relatively little was done in terms of insulating the cockpit from the heat generated by the engine. As Speed TV correspondents reported during the race broadcast, cockpit temperatures in other cars were as high as 140 degrees. During the race, the #53 BMW M6 generated cockpit temperatures in excess of 170 degrees, which resulted in Mike Borkowski and Tommy Constantine having to pit two additional times (due to heat exhaustion) for driver changes (total of three pit stops). Both drivers required medical attention and were given IVs in order to continue to participate in the race. These additional pit stops cost the team several positions. The #53 Playboy Verve BMW M6 finished 13th, thanks to a strong run by Mike Borkowski and Tommy Constantine. As the team continues to develop the package, we expect the Playboy Racing Verve BMW M6 to be very competitive in the near future. |
